Living Water
The Samaritan woman came for water and left with something eternal: the living Spirit. Jesus meets our deepest thirst, healing and renewing the soul with his presence, a life that never runs dry for all.
But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
John 4:14
A Thirst We All Share
At the well, Jesus meets a woman thirsty for more than water. We too carry thirst — for love, meaning, forgiveness. These are not flaws, but signs of our need for God.
An Unexpected Encounter
Jesus approaches her gently, asking for a drink. He begins where she is — not with judgment, but with presence. God often meets us in our ordinary places.
The Gift Offered
He speaks of living water — a gift not drawn from a well, but poured from His heart. This water is His Spirit, His life in us. It heals, renews, and overflows.
Becoming a Fountain
The woman becomes a witness. Filled with joy, she runs to tell others. When we drink deeply of Christ, we too become sources of life for others.
